John 12:20-26. Jesus predicted his own suffering and resurrection on multiple occasions. After declaring that he must go to His cross in other gospel accounts, he says to be his diciples we must deny oursleves and take up our cross. What does it mean to take up YOUR cross?

Luke 24:13-35. Just like the 2 disciples on the road to Emmaus, a believer can sometimes lose sight, lose heart and lose faith. We all need times of spiritual renewal and to be refreshed in spiritual passion. How does that happen? Through his living word our hearts burn once again.

Luke 24:1-53. After the cross the disciples thought it was all over. The one they had thought was the Messiah was now crucified. They didn’t recognise the prophecies that showed that he had to suffer. Fir this easter Sunday message we journey through this chapter and consider the resurrection appearances and restored faith.

In John 19:30 Jesus said the immortal words “It is Finished”. He also said 6 other insightful sayings which, when explored, give us wonderful insghts into his heart and the gospel message.

John 12:12-16. As Jesus rides in Jerusalem, fulfilling prophecy as Israel’s King, He knows that the nation has rejected them and, according to Luke 19:28-44, weeps over Jerusalem and makes a shocking prophecy regarding his second coming.
