Luke 12:1-12. As Jesus exposes the hypocrisy of the Pharisees, he warns his own disciples to avoid legalism, external forms of religion, and the hypocrisy it produces. May these words search our own hearts also, to stay under grace and under the healthy conviction and guidance of the Holy Spirit. 

Luke 11:14-54. At the climax of His rejection by the Jewish leaders, Jesus exposes the hypocrisy and darkness of the Pharisees with several “Woes” against them. They were so close to the truth, but “blessed are those who hear the Word and keep it”. 

Luke 11:1-13. “The Lord’s Prayer” serves as a model prayer, not to just be recited as some religious formula, but to provide key principles for our own prayer-lives as we learn how to pray. The tenants and handrails for prayer our found in this powerful example of prayer.  

Luke 10:38-42. Martha was distracted from hearing The Word of God and instead was troubled and worried about many things. We must first chose to ”sit at Jesus’ feet” and let him speak, minister, love, correct, guide, wdify and then we can serve from all that we receive and with the right heart motivation.
