Luke 1:1-27 The silence of the silent years is about to be broken. This chapter covers the first angelic appearance for some 400 years or more and the announcement of the coming of the forerunner (John the Baptist) and The Messiah.

Acts 8:1-40. As the persecution begins, headed up by Saul of Tarsus, the believers leave Jerusalem to Judea and then Samaria, taking the gospel with them. Philip also meets The Ethiopian and leads him to faith.
