John 10:1-42. In one of John’s 7 “I AM’s”, Jesus refers to himself as both the good shepherd and the door/gate to the sheepfold. As the good shepherd we see the love of our Lord expressed in laying down his life for the sheep.

Acts 1-12. This overview of the first 12 chapters of Acts sets the stage for us to study the missionary journeys of Paul as the gospel goes into the uttermost parts of the world.

2 Cor 8:1-9. He who was rich became poor. How rich was he? How poor did he become? We who were poor became rich. How poor were we? How rich did we become? We consider the price he paid and the unseapkable riches we recieved in Christ.

2 Kings 5:1-27. This beautiful story of Namaan’s healing serves as an powerful and clear illustration for salvation by grace. Sadly the story ends with Gehazi asking Namaan to pay a price for his healing, like legalistic people today who would rob people of the freedom of grace.
