1 Sam 14:24-52. The Bible uses honey as an analogy of the Word of God. Just as Jonathan was physically quickened by eating the honey in the wood, we are need to be spiritually quickened by the living Word of grace. 

1 Sam 14:1-23. Jonathan went forward by faith, with his armoured bearer right behind him. They believed that God could give them the victory, even though they were vastly outnumbered. Let’s not limit ourselves by ourselves, for God is with us!
