Luke 24:13-35. The 2 disciples on the Road to Emmaus, like all the disciples, had pinned their hopes on Jesus. They had trusted that He was the Messiah, oh but now he was dead and all seemed lost. But on that dusty road from Jerusalem, their sorrow was about to be turned into Joy as they would see Him, the resurrected Lord, once more. Oh how this story renews our faith in Him, our love for the Bible and our hope in seeing Him one day soon.
