Jeff has been a long-standing member and elder at PEFC and faithfully serves the church in many ways. He currently overseas the toddlers group, heads up one of the small groups and serves as the church secretary.
Jeff grew up in Newhaven and became a Christian in 1962 at the age of 18 when attending a crusade run by the Evangelist, Eric Hutchens. After attending Bible College, he became actively involved in working in the evangelical crusades throughout the country as a youth coordinator. Whilst on one such crusade in Plymouth in 1968 Jeff met Violet Edwards, who was to become his loving wife and companion in faith. In 1986 they moved to Peacehaven with his family and attended PEFC. Jeff worked in the prison service in different places for a total of 30 years. They have a wonderful family of two sons, a daughter and three grandchildren.
Both Jeff and Violet have served tirelessly and faithfully in this local church and have been instrumental in the lives of so many. Through good and difficult times, they have helped develop a church family and culture that is welcoming, friendly, and fervent in the faith.
